Day 8

Today we went to the Motorcycle Hall of Fame breakfast and induction ceremony.  It was nice to meet Willie G. Davidson and Lorenzo Llamas, but we were there for a long, long time....

There wasn't much time left for a ride today so I rode up to downtown Strurgis to look at bikes.

We made it to RUSHMORE!!!

Day 6

We ran around in The Badlands today.  The pictures just don't do it justice.  It was spectacular!

Day 5

It was raining lightly this morning so I went down to the garage to adjust the belt on my bike and Betsy made breakfast.  The house we're renting it perfect, 2 car garage, 4 bedrooms in a quiet area, so you can actually get some much needed sleep once in a while.  We met a lot of people on the ride out here, but we really hit it off with two riders from Illinois that had a room next to ours back in Onowa. 

Snook and Hulk (Hans and Franz : -)

Late morning, Snook and Hulk stopped by and we rode up to Spearfish to meet Betsy's friends Joe and Joe.  They led us through Spearfish Canyon past Bridal Falls then on to Rochford (pop 13) for a late lunch. 

Then we cruised through downtown Sturgis and up to the Broken Spoke campground.  Betsy will be inducted into the Motorcycle Hall of Fame on wednesday!  So she brought all of us to a VIP dinner the Broken Spoke had for inductees.  Later on 38 Special played, another great day!
